Interior

Welded in Matter rollcage, seam welded chassis (50% increase in structural stiffness), fire extinguisher, no interior trim, no heater/blower mechanism, cable operated door locks, 1/2 litre wash bottle, no rear seats, no power windows or mirrors, no sun roof, no aircon, no cavity wax, underseal or sound deadening, no sound system (except in the rear….), no cigar lighter, no spare tyre.

Exterior

Cup mirrors, front brake cooling ducts, hood retaining pins -no catch, lightweight alloy bonnet, no rear wiper, non-standard 17" cast magnesium wheels (saving 11kgs!) with Pirelli slicks, dry weight 1120kgs (Carrera 2 1350kg).

Brakes

Switchable ABS using the Carrera 4 high pressure system, cross drilled Turbo discs and calipers.



Suspension

Strut brace, revised springs and Bilstein shock absorbers to give a ride height 55mm lower than standard, fully adjustable front and rear roll bars.



Engine & Gearbox

Larger oil cooler and no cooling fan, sintered racing clutch, steel syncro rings, no power steering and raised steering ratio, electrical kill switch under hood, on wing and in driver compartment, racing electrical charge system, racing type engine mounts and bushes, 40% locking diff, longer ratios on first and second gear, shorter ratios on third, fourth and fifth.
