Good weather greeted us at the National Trust property, Basildon
Park, Nr. Reading, Berkshire, England. The Porsche Club of Great
Britain's Thames Valley Region had invited the PCGB 964 Register to participate
in their annual concours. Around 15 964s turned up. 10 competed in
our own informal concours organised by Ken Chambers, the PCGB 964 Register
Secretary.
Instead of formal judging we all marked each others cars in such categories
as:
Best car under 65,000 miles
Car with most publicity
Most modified car
Car with best history
etc.
Plates were awarded as follows:
Best car under 65,000 miles - Kate Bottomely
Best unmodified original car - John Miles
Best modified car - Melvin Spear
Best car over 65,000 miles - Ken Chambers

I like these fog lamp replacements
on Alexander's 964. A mini-fog and vents that are ducted to the front
discs. Available from TechArt.
Christmas present please Rosie. |

And a couple of line-up shots
taken by Elliott Davies. Thanks. |
