You have two choices, both take about the same time. Route B is more scenic of course. Both suffer from jams at peak times on summer/holiday weekends. We tend to use route A. You can plan your own route at www.ViaMichelin.com. For a printable Acrobat version of these directions, please click here (342k).

There are two exits for Ashburton. You want the second one, the Peartree Cross exit with brown tourist signs for the River Dart Country Park. At the top of the slip road turn right and follow the road past the Shell garage on your left and up the rise entering Dartmoor National Park. |

You are going to follow this windy road for a couple of miles past the Dart Valley Adventure Park on your left until you reach the 14th Century Holne Bridge over the Dart. |

The road turns sharp left to go over the bridge. Our
russet/brown gate is right in front of you immediately before
this turn. There is no house nameplate. Go through the
gate and along the drive for 400yds to the house. Welcome. |
